The History
1938
Nadeau Farms is established.
1967
Nadeau Seeds is established with Joyce &
Gilbert Nadeau. The facility cleaned 100 bushels per hour.
1968
Nadeau Seeds becomes an Accredited Certified Seed establishment with the Canadian Seed Growers Association.
1974
We were one of the first businesses to produce, process, treat and ship canola.
1992
Chris Banman becomes an employee of Nadeau Seeds.
1993
Gale Wight becomes an employee of Nadeau Seeds.
2002
We started to produce, process, treat and ship soybeans.
2007
A new shop was built to meet the demands of the business.
2008
Brian and Rachelle purchased the family business from Joyce and Gilbert.
2009
Clint Kindiak becomes an employee of Nadeau Seeds.
2011
The seed plant was remodelled to improve cleaning efficiencies and seed quality. The facility can clean 600 bushels per hour.
2013
Kara Nadeau joins the business. This makes Kara the 3rd generation with Nadeau Seeds and 4th generation with Nadeau Farms.
2013
Nadeau Seeds becomes a member of the Canadian Seed Trade Association.
2013
Certified in safe workplace and operations. We continue to improve our safety and working environment for the safety of our employees and customers.
2015
A new office is built to accommodate the demands of the growing business and to create a welcoming and professional space for our customers.
2016
Brian joins the Board of Directors for CSTA.
2019
Nadeau Seeds begins expansion of the receiving and shipping line of the seed plant operation. The seed plant line will now have a colour sorter and a destoner to maximize quality control.
